Celexa 20 mg (F P 20 MG orange oval pill) is an antidepressant medication that belongs to the drug class SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). Celexa 20 mg tablet is used to treat depression and major depressive disorder.  This medicine (Celexa 20 mg oral tablet) is also used as an off-label medication to treat bipolar depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, anxiety, menopausal symptoms, irritable bowel syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, children with depression, agitation associated with dementia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Its generic version is citalopram.
